SIMPRAZOL ® - 20

 

INGREDIENT :

Each enteric coated tablet contains Esomeprazole magnesium trihydrate equivalent to Esomeprazole 20 mg.

INDICATION :

SIMPRAZOL® is indicated for:

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

- Treatment for erosive reflux esophagitis

- Long-term treatment for patients who have recovered from esophagitis, to prevent recurrence

- Symptomatic treatment for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

- In combination with an appropriate antibacterial therapeutic regimen for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori

- Healing of duodenal ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori

· Patients who require further therapy Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory (NSAID)

- Healing of gastric ulcers associated with NSAID therapy

- Prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers associated with continued NSAID therapy in at-risk patients. Patients considered at risk due to age (> 60 years) and history of peptic ulcer. It is recommended to be given no more than 6 months.

Maintaining hemostasis and preventing rebleeding of gastric or duodenal ulcers following therapy with liquid proton pump inhibitors via intravenous infusion

Treatment of Zollinger Ellison's Syndrome

DOSAGE AND USAGE :

Tablets should be swallowed whole with water. Tablets should not be chewed or crushed.

1 x daily 20-40 mg.
