INGREDIENT :
Each vial contains: Mixed Sulbactam sodium and Cefoperazone sodium (1:1) 1,280 g: equivalent: with a mixture of Sulbactam and Cefoperazone (1:1) 1 g.

INDICATION :

SIMEXTAM® Injection Powder is indicated for infections caused by susceptible bacteria:

» Respiratory tract infections (upper and lower).

» Urinary tract infections (upper and lower).

» Peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis and other infections of the stomach.

» Skin and soft tissue infections.

DOSAGE AND USAGE :

Adults: 2 -4 grams per day divided into 2 divided doses and may be increased to 8 grams per day in cases of severe and refractory infections. The maximum daily dose of Sulbactam is 4 grams.

Children: 40 - 80 mg / kg / day given every 6 - 12 hours, the dose can be increased to 160 mg / kg / day. In neonates aged 1 week, it can be given every 12 hours with a maximum dose of Sulbactam not exceeding 80 mg/kgBW/day.
